This week was a doosey! We learned how to condense our code in ActionScript
so it will be easier for
us to make a content management system. Basically, I'll be
able to upload 400 images of my fabulous
work and ill just have to code a little
bit-not a whole lot like you may have thought!! I bet you were thinking that.
I also
learned how to put text under images and they change! It was fine while I was
learning and everything was going
great, but then something went wrong and I
freaked out. Turns out, it was something simple and dumb, like I
thought it would
be and I just had the layers mixed up. I'm excited about what I learned though!
SEE!
Anyway, this week, we also started our Problem Solving potential project ideas, and
I'm getting more and
more amped about it. We're doing interface designs-not websites
and I originally thought about doing mine
based off the Simpson (I really like the
show, I don't know if you could tell) but I was thinking more about the
website but
I don't want to just make the site an interface. Whatever!
We'll see.
In my advertising class we're learning about roles in advertising, and my teacher
based each role off of the show
Mad Men which I was super excited about because
I love that
show. They had a really cool interface game on their website where you
could make yourself, and I don't really look like myself. Pretty neat though!
